Are you too busy to take care of your health? It’s okay, let’s see figure it out.

It’s time to take your health into your own hands.

You're probably ready for me to say this, so I’ll get it over with. You can’t afford NOT to take time for your health. Your health is your number one asset, so let’s find a way to make it a priority in your day.

First of all, health is a subjective word. What does it mean to you? Is it to feel good, withstand disease, be able to play a sport, or hang with the grandkids all day? Whatever it means, let’s make sure what you do hits that mark.

Next, answer this question: What do you feel is the #1 health action missing in your day? Is it nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management? Identify the top one or two and write them down. Then, let’s back up and start with the smallest, first step to make toward that action. If it’s exercise, what about just putting your tennis shoes on once a day? You think I’m crazy, but Atomic Habits (James Clear) and Tiny Habits (BJ Fogg) - books on habits, talk about starting small first. Those smaller habits can be built upon later. How long would it take you to breathe slowly four times in the afternoon? Not much, yet it might help you get into the habit of slowing down and paying attention to your breath a small step toward a bigger goal. Pick one or two small steps or habits and do those for a set timeframe, such as four weeks. Then…pick two more. Keep it going for a while and you’ll start to see progress toward your goal, and you now have time to do the health activities you so desperately need.

Believe me, I don’t discount your busy life; I’ve got one, too. But in order to be the best, most productive you, take time for yourself and build up your health. You’ll be more productive in the long-run, and busier with things you want to do, not that you have to do.

The Health Navigator Guide is for busy people. It helps you find the best options for your current health needs, and it gives you insight into yourself and what has influenced you to be so busy and push time for health aside. I highly recommend this guide to you so that you can make a new way of health: Making health actions a priority so you can be great!

In the meanwhile, remember…small steps make way for big results.
